No. 17 GW Pulls Away to Beat Saint Joseph's; Virginia Falls to No. 12 Duke

¿ TENNESSEE 72, MISSISSIPPI ST. 46: Candace Parker scored 19 points and the No. 3 Lady Vols (25-2, 11-1 Southeastern Conference) overcame a slow start in Knoxville, Tenn.

"They play in spurts," Tennessee Coach Pat Summitt said. "As a coach you want every possession to be played."

Parker scored all but five of her points in the second half and set a Tennessee career record for blocked shots.

Alexis Rack led the Lady Bulldogs (16-12, 4-9) with 15 points.

¿ OLD DOMINION 66, DREXEL 51: In Norfolk, Tiffany Green scored 12 points to lead the No. 10 Lady Monarchs (24-3, 15-0 Colonial Athletic Association) to their 18th straight win. Gabriela Marginean scored 20 points to lead the Dragons (15-11, 10-5).

¿ TEXAS EL-PASO 89, CENTRAL FLORIDA 74: In Orlando, Jareica Hughes scored 23 points to lead the No. 19 Miners (23-2, 14-0) to their first regular season Conference USA championship. The league title is only the second for a women's program in the history of UTEP athletics and the first since the 1984 volleyball team won the Oil Athletic Conference crown. Central Florida is 9-18, 2-12.

¿ NOTRE DAME 66, DEPAUL 64: Erica Williamson tied a career high with 16 points to help the No. 14 Fighting Irish (21-6, 9-4 Big East) in Evanston, Ill. The Blue Demons are 18-8, 7-6.

¿ TEXAS A&amp;M 65, TEXAS 50: In Austin, Takia Starks scored 22 points and the No. 21 Aggies (20-7, 8-5 Big 12) pulled away early in the second half to earn a third straight win over the Longhorns (16-11, 4-9), who have lost six of seven.

¿ GEORGIA 68, AUBURN 56: Tasha Humphrey scored 22 points and the No. 24 Lady Bulldogs (20-7, 7-5 SEC) overcame a nine-minute drought without a field goal in Athens, Ga. The Lady Tigers are 18-9, 6-6.

¿ TOWSON 58, GEORGE MASON 53: The Patriots could not hold on to an early double-digit lead in the CAA matchup at Patriot Center. Senior Lateisha Wade led George Mason (9-17, 3-12) with a game-high 17 points. The Tigers are 18-8, 10-5.
