Wizards: F Caron Butler (strained left hip flexor) has missed eight straight games and did not make the trip. C Etan Thomas (heart surgery) can do non-contact work in practice but no timetable has been set for his return to game action. G Gilbert Arenas (left knee) has been cleared for non-contact work in practice but said Saturday that no date has been set for a possible return to game action.
Hornets: The team reported no injuries. It recently acquired Bonzi Wells and Mike James from Houston for Bobby Jackson and Adam Haluska, who is expected to be waived.
