The key figures in the four trades the Capitals made Tuesday:


Montreal goalie Cristobal Huet: A 2007 all-star, he is 21-12-6 with a 2.55 goals against average this season.

Columbus center Sergei Fedorov: The 1994 Hart Trophy winner and a six-time all-star, he's reaching the end of his career at age 38.

Vancouver left wing Matt Cooke: He has seven goals and nine assists this season.


Left wing Matt Pettinger: He has two goals and five assists in 56 games.

Defenseman Theo Ruth: A second-round pick in 2007, he has not played in the NHL.
