While Ohio and Texas have garnered almost all the attention, Vermont and Rhode Island also hold contests today. The candidates have largely ignored Vermont, where Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) is expected to win. But Obama and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) have made appearances in Rhode Island, which figures to be more competitive. Neither state holds enough delegates to sway the race, but if the candidates split Texas and Ohio, a New England sweep would give the winner bragging rights in three of four contests.
