A man was shot and killed last night in Oxon Hill after a gunman, his face hidden by a ski mask, approached a group of people on an outdoor patio and opened fire, Prince George's County police said.
A second victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police Cpl. Stephen Pacheco said today.
The shooting took place in the 1500 block of Birchwood Drive at about 11:30 p.m.
The name of the dead man was not released, pending notification of his relatives, but Pacheco said he was in his 30s.
The gunman, who police are seeking, was described as in his 20s, and dressed in dark clothing and the ski mask. He fired several rounds, police said.
