All-star forward Caron Butler missed his 13th straight game with a left hip injury last night and the team has provided no update on his status.

However, a source close to Butler said he is feeling "better" and hopes to be cleared to test the hip in practice at some point in the next two weeks.

Butler's original diagnosis was a strained hip flexor but, after he aggravated the injury during a game on Feb. 5, a second MRI exam revealed a slight tear in the labrum.

After last night's loss to the Magic, the Wizards are 6-11 without Butler. For the third straight game, Darius Songaila started at power forward while Antawn Jamison shifted to small forward. Andray Blatche came off the bench.

Orlando's Superman

Magic center Dwight Howard entered the game averaging 21.6 points and 14.5 rebounds while shooting 60.5 percent. Only four players in NBA history (Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal) have finished a season averaging at least 20 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 60 percent.

They'll Meet Again

The Wizards and Magic meet twice more, March 19 and April 16, both in Orlando. If the current Eastern Conference seeding hold, the teams will meet in a first-round playoff series.
