The 2008 Capital Classic boys' basketball game on April 13 will have a father-son theme.

The U.S. All-Stars roster features three players whose fathers were college and NBA stars: Ralph Sampson Jr., son of former Virginia and NBA all-star Ralph Sampson; Klay Thompson, son of former Lakers center Mychal Thompson; and Renaldo Woolridge, son of Orlando Woolridge.

Even the coaches have father-son ties. The U.S. team is led by St. Benedict's (N.J.) Coach Danny Hurley, son of St. Anthony's (N.J.) Coach Bob Hurley Sr., and the Capital All-Stars are led by O'Connell Coach Joe Wootten, son of retired DeMatha coach and Hall of Famer Morgan Wootten.

Gonzaga's Cameron Johnson and Carroll's Kris Joseph highlight the Capital All-Stars roster. The Capital Classic, which will air live on MASN. is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Comcast Center. It will be preceded by the District All-Stars facing the Suburban All-Stars at 2:30 p.m., and a dunk and three-point shooting contest will be held at 3:30 p.m. on April 11 at O'Connell.
