A Kansas publisher has a contest for young authors who would like to be published. There are three age categories: 6-9, 10-13 and 14-19.

This Story

One author from each group will receive $15,000 for college and a trip to Kansas to have his or her book edited before it is published by the company, Landmark House Ltd.

To be considered, a book must have been written and illustrated by one person. There is an entry fee of $10, and all entries must be postmarked by June 1, 2008.
