PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY

Woman's Body Found Near Station

Prince George's County police are investigating as a possible suicide the death of a 27-year-old woman whose body was found on a hillside near the tracks of the Prince George's Plaza Metrorail station on the Green Line.

A Metro rider saw the body and notified the station manager about 6:45 a.m., Metro officials said. They said they did not know how long the body had been there.

Between 8 and 10 a.m., all eight-car trains heading downtown toward Branch Avenue did not stop at the station because the body was very close to the platform and agency officials thought some passengers might be upset by seeing it, officials said.

Normal service resumed at 10:05 a.m.

Suspect in Three Killings Indicted

A grand jury has indicted the suspect in a triple homicide on Super Bowl Sunday at the Uno Chicago Grill in Largo, officials said.

Tron S. Johnson, 22, of Mitchellville, who has been held without bond since his arrest Feb. 9, was indicted on three counts of first-degree murder, three counts of using a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence and one count of first-degree assault, officials said.

Johnson is accused of killing Curtis L. Poston, 26, of Temple Hills and Terrance L. Sneed, 22, of Landover inside the restaurant after an argument turned into a brawl just after 9:15 p.m.

He is also accused of following Charles D. Harrison, 25, of Landover into the parking lot and shooting him. Harrison had run from the restaurant when the shooting started.
