Baseball fans are turning their attention to how they might approach the new Nationals Park. That includes fans who are elderly or have disabilities.

Dear Dr. Gridlock:

I've heard a lot about the necessity of taking Metro to the games but very little about options for mobility-impaired patrons. Will there be close-in drop-off points and handicapped parking? What about other things, like curb cuts for wheelchairs going from the Navy Yard Station to the stadium?

I'd like to take my 90-year-old father to a Nats game and would like to drive him up to the door. Can I do that? Also, would a daytime, evening or weekend game be my best bet?
