Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy will miss the next four games because of a groin injury.
Roy, an all-star reserve, was injured in Tuesday night's 102-82 victory at home over the Wizards. He did not travel with the Blazers for last night's game against the Warriors.
NENE RETURNS: Nuggets forward Nene is returning to the court, 2 1/2 months after surgery to remove a malignant testicular tumor. He planned to play about five minutes against the Mavericks last night.
Nene underwent a single dose of chemotherapy last month. He averaged 6.4 points and 6.4 rebounds before his illness.
RONDO SIDELINED: Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo watched practice from a stationary bike yesterday as he nursed a sore right hamstring.
Rondo was hurt Wednesday night in the third quarter of Boston's win over Phoenix.
Rondo missed the Dec. 30 game against the Lakers because of the same hamstring injury.
