Though he felt soreness in his right forearm -- a condition that has him beginning the season on the disabled list -- he worked through it. He is scheduled to make another minor league start Thursday. . . . OF Elijah Dukes, still babying a strained right hamstring, started in left field and played nine innings without incident. . . . RHP Tim Redding said his back spasms are gone.
