These days, Kathie Lee explained to Matt and Gang, Cody is 6-foot-3 and on his way to college, although "like every 18-year-old, he already knows everything and doesn't really need college. He just needs to go and spend his mother's -- and father's -- money."

Later in the show, we learned Cody had broken Kathie Lee's finger when it somehow got in the way of her daughter, Cassidy, trying to go to bed when Cody wanted to start trouble.

We also learned Kathie Lee has "brand-new feet":

"I was either getting my feet done . . . or getting my face done." She decided to have cosmetic surgery on her feet because "I had 80-year-old-lady feet after 40 years in show business."

"Frank is cool with this?" Lauer wondered of Kathie Lee's husband. In re the return to work -- not the foot work.

"Are you kidding? . . . Somebody has to work in our family," Kathie Lee shot back, adding, just between them, "he said, 'Kathie, I don't think I can play football anymore.' "

Aw!

"It's going to be good to be working, because I'm really tired of staying home watching Frank's old . . . highlight films in black and white.

"You look good. That's why they call you a tight end, honey."
