The Washington Redskins' participation in the NFL's Hall of Fame weekend and the return of former Redskins assistant coach Gregg Williams highlight the team's partial preseason schedule released yesterday.

Washington will open exhibition play in the Hall of Fame game against the Indianapolis Colts on Aug. 3 in Canton, Ohio, with kickoff scheduled at 8 p.m. The game will be broadcast by NBC. Former Redskins Darrell Green and Art Monk are among this year's Hall of Fame inductees.

The Jacksonville Jaguars, who recently hired Williams as defensive coordinator after his four-year stint with Washington, will be the Redskins' final preseason opponent on Aug. 28 at FedEx Field. The game will also be on NBC at 7 p.m.

The Redskins have three other preseason games in August with dates and times still to be determined. Washington will play host to the Buffalo Bills and travel to play the New York Jets and Carolina Panthers. Those games will be televised on WUSA (Channel 9) and Comcast SportsNet.
