With his third-period goal Thursday, Alex Ovechkin moved into a tie with Peter Bondra for most power-play goals in a season with 22, a record Bondra established in 2000-01. In his third season, Ovechkin also moved into the Capitals' top 10 in career goals with his 163rd.
