The Queen Elizabeth 2: The booming Persian Gulf emirate of Dubai last year spent $100 million to buy one of the world's most majestic cruise liners from Britain's Cunard Line. The ship will be berthed at a man-made island off that country's coast and turned into a luxury hotel.

Trump's Palm Beach mansion: After failing to sell for two years at its original list price of $125 million, the Palm Beach mansion of developer Donald Trump is now listed with a new agent and priced to sell at $100 million.

The King Memorial: With a projected completion in 2009, the Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial on the Mall is estimated to cost $100 million.
