CHICAGO, April 5 -- The Wizards played their second straight game without all-star forward Antawn Jamison on Saturday night. Jamison, who sprained his right shoulder in the closing seconds of Wednesday's loss to Milwaukee when he dove into the stands to save a loose ball, said he plans to return Wednesday night when the Wizards host Boston.

"I'll be back Wednesday," he said after the Wizards beat the Bulls, 99-87. "It's already feeling better and couple of days of rest will help even more."

When he does make his return, Jamison said he would take a more conventional approach than did Gilbert Arenas, who did not join his teammates for warmups last Wednesday night and jogged out to the bench with 5 minutes 30 seconds remaining in the first quarter.

"I'm a little more low key than that," Jamison said with a chuckle. "I'd rather go out there with the guys. It was fun, though. It was good to have him out there and the most important thing is that he's playing."

But not Saturday night. Arenas, who missed 66 straight games following left knee surgery, was held out as a precautionary measure after playing just under 20 minutes Wednesday night and just over 20 minutes Friday night in a win over Miami.

Futile Start Becomes Historic

The Wizards are the 13th team in NBA history to qualify for the playoffs after starting a season 0-5. Following the winless start, the Wizards reeled off six consecutive wins.
