LoRusso was named All-Met in the fall for cross-country, and his speed and versatility earned him the same distinction indoors. He emerged as the Washington area's top miler, winning the 1,600 at the Northern Region championships before capturing gold at the AAA state meet in a career-best 4:15.53.
