Okay. Everyone says Iraq and other commitments have stretched the armed forces dangerously thin. But how much longer will Washington tolerate Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez's deliberate provocations?

This Story

The latest came this week when Conatel, Venezuela's Federal Communications Commission, yanked "The Simpsons" off the air there, saying the show could have a bad influence on children. The show, dubbed into Spanish, had been airing Saturdays at 11 a.m.

The network replaced the popular cartoon with "Baywatch Hawaii," starring Pamela Anderson. Perfect for kids.
