1B Dmitri Young (lower back sprain) received treatment at the stadium yesterday, but GM Jim Bowden could put no timetable on his return. . . . LF Elijah Dukes (hamstring) has lobbied Bowden to be activated from the DL, but Bowden said "he's not going on the field until he's 100 percent." . . . Kory Casto, the right fielder at Class AAA Columbus, broke the hamate bone in his hand Wednesday and is expected to be sidelined for six weeks.

Walks drawn this season by leadoff hitter Cristian Guzman entering last night's game. Manager Manny Acta said he would keep Guzman in the top slot, because, "The guy right now is playing well, so I'm not going to try to put any negative stuff in his head."
