PERSONNEL DEPT.

1B Dmitri Young (lower back sprain) received treatment at the stadium yesterday, but GM Jim Bowden could put no timetable on his return. . . . LF Elijah Dukes (hamstring) has lobbied Bowden to be activated from the DL, but Bowden said "he's not going on the field until he's 100 percent." . . . Kory Casto, the right fielder at Class AAA Columbus, broke the hamate bone in his hand Wednesday and is expected to be sidelined for six weeks.
