For the third straight season, the Wizards and Cleveland Cavaliers will meet in a first-round playoff series, and although there are few secrets remaining between the rivals, Coach Eddie Jordan said he likes the advance notice.

The Wizards are 2-2 against the Cavaliers this season but the teams have met only once since the Cavaliers shook up their roster with a trade that acquired Ben Wallace, Delonte West and Wally Szczerbiak.

The Wizards beat the Cavaliers, 101-99, at Verizon Center on March 13.

"Absolutely, you feel good about knowing who we are going to play," Jordan said before last night's game. "You know you've got four days to get your books together and your scouting reports together. I'm not saying we're glad to be playing Cleveland but we're glad to know that we're playing that opponent."

In a recent blog entry he wrote for NBA.com, Gilbert Arenas expressed some interesting thoughts on the potential of another Wizards-Cavaliers matchup.

"I think everybody wants Cleveland in that first round," Arenas wrote. "They've been a .500 team since that trade and everybody wants a chance at that matchup. We want Cleveland for our own reasons, we don't think they can beat us in the playoffs three years straight. It's hard to beat a team three years straight. We want to try our luck."

Cavaliers star LeBron James, who was called "overrated" by Wizards guard DeShawn Stevenson following the March 13 meeting, was asked about the matchup Sunday afternoon.

"Yeah, that is so fun, I'm excited," James said sarcastically. "I wanted to play someone else, but if we have to play somebody, I'm glad it's Washington."
