National Record Store Day is Saturday, and several area record stores are marking the occasion.

This Story

Crooked Beat Records: Will pass out grab bags to the first 50 paying customers. Goodies include CDs and 7-inch recordings.

DJ Hut: Ten percent off all purchases. Anyone who makes a purchase on National Record Store Day will be entered into a raffle for a Numark portable turntable (retails at $100). Drawing is Monday.

Joe's Record Paradise: A 20 percent discount on purchases if customers mention this story.

Record & Tape Exchange: Twenty percent off everything in the store Saturday.

Red Onion Records & Books: Will have a 10 percent sale storewide. Also, customers are eligible for raffles throughout the day to win gift certificates.

Roadhouse Oldies: All $3 albums will be $1.

Smash Records: Ten percent discount on records (not CDs).

Som Records: Will offer 10 percent off purchases to anyone who asks, although owner Neal Becton says "every day is record store day around here."
