Robert A. Burton, deputy administrator of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy at the Office of Management and Budget, has announced that he will retire in July after 30 years of federal service.
He joined the procurement policy office in November 2001 and has played a key role in the development of government-wide acquisition policies and regulations. He previously served for more than 21 years as an acquisition lawyer at the Defense Department.
