In his book "Tough Questions -- Good Answers," Thomas Calcagni discusses how to use questions as a springboard for communicating your key points:

· Plan and practice your message, or you're limited by what you're asked.

· Understand and respond appropriately to basic question types: open-ended, loaded-preface, what-if, and A-or-B.

· Use transitional phrases to connect questions to your message.
