American Society for Engineering Education of the District won a $10.1 million contract from the Naval Surface Warfare Center to provide postdoctoral engineers and scientists with opportunities for research.

University of Maryland Biotechnology of Baltimore won a $2.5 million contract from the Army to provide research and development.

Northrop Grumman Systems of Linthicum Heights won a $1.7 million contract from the Navy to provide research and development for the ultra-high-capacity hybrid thermal ground plane.

J.M. Waller Associates of Burke won a $30 million contract from the Army for support services.

CACI of Chantilly won an $82.8 million contract from the Navy for professional, technical, management and administrative services support.

Portal Dynamics of Alexandria won a $1.8 million contract from the Army for combat assault and tactical vehicles.
