By Laurie David and Cambria Gordon

For ages 9-12

Want to know what a carbon footprint is or what greenhouse gases do?

It doesn't sound like fun reading, but it can be with this well-illustrated guide. The book is divided into four parts: the science of global warming and an explanation of why it's happening; the effect on our weather systems; the impact on plant and animal life; and things that kids can do to help reverse the problem.
