· An April 17 Page One article about a Democratic presidential debate in Philadelphia incorrectly said comments by William Ayers, a member of the Weather Underground, were made after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Ayers's remarks were published in the New York Times on the morning of the attacks.

· An April 17 Style article incorrectly said the Shubert Organization owns the National Theatre. The organization manages the National for the nonprofit National Theatre Corp.

· In the April 17 Prince George's Extra, a Notebook item about the setting of boundaries for Vansville Elementary School misidentified the school that was being considered for a pilot pre-kindergarten-through-eighth-grade program. The school was Beltsville Elementary, not Vansville Elementary.

· In some editions, an April 15 Page One article and Washington Sketch misidentified where Sen. Barack Obama spoke to members of the media the previous day. Obama and Sen. John McCain both addressed meetings hosted by the Associated Press, held in conjunction with the annual gathering of the American Society of Newspaper Editors.
