Hours of operation:10 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. From April 1 to Dec. 31, trolleys run every 15 minutes. From Jan. 1 to March 31, trolleys run every 30 minutes.

Arlington Transit (ART)

Arlington Transit operates several buses within Arlington County. The system connects with Metrobus, Metrorail and Virginia Railway Express.

Hours of operation:7 a.m.-6 p.m. weekdays

Fares:$1.25, a gold ART token or a Metrobus token; 35 cents or silver ART token with a Metrorail transfer. Free with Metrobus Flash Pass, bus-to-bus transfer or valid ART transfer. Free on Code Red ozone action days. Senior and disabled fares, 60 cents with Metro identification or Medicare card. Rail-to-bus transfers are worth 85 cents toward Metrobus fare. The fare with a transfer is 35 cents for regular Metrobus routes, $1.65 on express routes.

Senior Center Adult Transportation (SCAT)

Arlington residents 55 and older can use the prearranged shared-ride cab transportation service. SCAT will provide round-trip transportation between residences and Arlington senior centers in specific zones.
