During our online chat (most Mondays at 2 p.m.), you ask and we answer your travel questions -- mostly. Here's one we couldn't get to last week.
Can you tell me the best way to eat economically (and healthy) in Amsterdam May 27-29?
Absolutely. Every frugal traveler to Holland must pay homage to Amsterdam's famous Albert Cuypmarket ( http://www.albertcuypmarkt.com) in the Pijp district, where fierce competition among the 300 or so stalls means great prices on fruit, vegetables, cheese and meat. Not far away is Bazar Amsterdam (Albert Cuypstraat 182, http://www.bazaramsterdam.com), a restaurant with some of the city's best, and best-value, North African and Middle Eastern food. And for lots more dining suggestions, visit IENS, a well-respected online guide, at http://www.iens.nl. -- S.V.
