BY THE NUMBERS
8-3
The Nationals' record at Nationals Park since Pope Benedict XVI said Mass there. The club was 2-5 at home before that.
PERSONNEL DEPT.
Manager Manny Acta said that despite CF Lastings Milledge's troubles reading balls in center -- Milledge turned what might have been an out into a double for Lance Berkman on Tuesday night -- Acta has no plans to move him. "We're not looking at anybody else to play center field right now," Acta said. "He's going to play and he's going to continue to work and he's going to have to get better and make adjustments." . . . RHP Shawn Hill watched video of his mediocre start Tuesday and identified several mechanical problems.
QUOTABLE
"It's still a big deal, but I'm not going to lose sleep over it like I did the first time."
LHP Mike O'Connor, comparing his start Saturday to his big league debut
