· FOOTBALL: A federal judge in Newport News, Va., ordered imprisoned quarterback Michael Vick to repay more than $2.4 million to the Royal Bank of Canada for defaulting on a loan. . . . Cleveland Browns linebacker Willie McGinest told SI.com the 2008 season will be his last. McGinest, entering his 15th season, won three Super Bowls with the New England Patriots.
· GOLF: Mhairi McKay of Scotland tied the course record with an 8-under-par 63 to take the lead after one round at the LPGA Tour's Michelob Ultra Open in Williamsburg.
On a soggy day, the River Course at Kingsmill yielded its fourth 63 in six years, and 90 players in the field of 144 shot par or better. Annika Sorenstam was a shot back at 64, tied with Sun Young Yoo, and top-ranked Lorena Ochoa and Diana D'Alessio each shot 65.
· HOCKEY: Philadelphia Flyers all-star defenseman Kimmo Timonen will likely miss the Eastern Conference finals against the Pittsburgh Penguins because of a blood clot in his left ankle.
