Indians OF David Dellucci, commenting on Joba Chamberlain's reaction after the Yankees reliever struck him out in the eighth inning yesterday. Two days earlier, Dellucci hit a pinch-hit three-run homer off Chamberlain.

Athletics: Optioned LHP Dallas Braden to Class AAA Sacramento.

Rangers: Designated 1B Ben Broussard for assignment and activated LHP Kason Gabbard and IF Travis Metcalf from the disabled list. LHP A.J. Murray was optioned back to Class AAA Oklahoma City.

Twins: Manager Ron Gardenhire rejoined the team after missing the last five games to be with his family in Oklahoma following the death of his brother, Mike Gardenhire.
