A weekly playlist for the listener with a one-track mind.

Coldplay: "A Spell a Rebel Yell" At this point, Coldplay is probably as sick of itself as everybody else is, which explains why this track from the band's upcoming disc sounds more like an "Unforgettable Fire" outtake sung by shoegazers than a Coldplay song. That, and the fact that it was produced by Brian Eno.

This Is Ivy League: "Crown of Love" This formerly magisterial Arcade Fire track gets a grave, stripped-down redo by two sometime members of Cobra Starship, who turn it into the best Proclaimers song ever.

Too Short: "I Ain't Trippin' " (James Pants Remix)'80s-obsessed remixer James Pants meets reinvigorated '90s rapper Too Short in this oddly genteel remix.

Candy Coated Killahz: "Rich Kids" This similarly '80s-obsessed Canadian hip-hop/electro-pop duo clearly never met a "L.A.M.B." song they didn't like, starting with this undeniably great, possibly unintentional inversion of "Rich Girl."

Lindsay Lohan: "Bossy" Ostensibly from Lohan's still-in-the-making new disc, this track was "accidentally" leaked, we're guessing by someone who doesn't like her very much.
