PERSONNEL DEPT.
C Johnny Estrada got some good news yesterday when the results of a neurological study and an MRI exam by physician Ben Shaffer revealed that Estrada has no structural damage in his right elbow. It's just ulnar neuritis and mild synovitis in the throwing elbow -- treatable with anti-inflammatories. Estrada has been on the 15-day disabled list since Friday. He has appeared in 17 games this season.
