The Montgomery County Humane Society has pets available for adoption by residents of Montgomery County and nearby jurisdictions at the shelter, through its foster program or through the society's Mobile Adoption Unit.
Available pets can be visited at the shelter from noon to 7 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The shelter is at 14645 Rothgeb Dr., in Rockville.
