ALL GAMES ON WWWT (107.7 FM, 1500 AM)

PERSONNEL DEPT.

After 11 starts this year, Tim Redding has a 6-3 record and a 3.59 ERA, lower than anything he's posted in six previous seasons. But so far, Redding has had one primary difficulty -- going deep into games. He couldn't escape the sixth on Sunday, and Milwaukee scored six runs in the inning. On May 9, the Marlins knocked him out in the sixth, too, finishing the frame with four runs. Only once all year has Redding finished the seventh. First time through the lineup, Redding limits opponents to a .172 average and .226 slugging percentage. By the third time through the lineup, those numbers soar: a .321 average and a .643 slugging percentage.

BY THE NUMBERS

192/3

Scoreless innings streak, extended by 5 2/3 yesterday, for RHP Jason Bergmann
