The Mobile Entertainment Forum ( MEF) has published a report forecasting that the US market for ad-funded mobile entertainment will grow to $336.35 million by 2013, which will expand the total mobile entertainment market by 4.6 percent. Most of the revenue will come from brands subsidizing content to the tune of $262.7 million, with $73.7 million coming from premium content up-sells. Mobile video and TV is predicted to account for 41.4 percent of ad-funded revenues by 2013, music 34.5 percent and games 24.1 percent.
