1997-98: 3 percent

2000-01: 8

2004-05: 15

2005-06: 17

2006-07: 22

Percentage of Fairfax County seventh-grade students taking Algebra I or above:

1997-08: 4 percent

2000-01: 4

2004-05: 3

2005-06: 5

2006-07: 9

2007-08: 11
