SEXUAL ASSAULTS

KENILWORTH TERR.,7:45 a.m. May 23. A man sexually assaulted a female acquaintance in a residence.

ROBBERIES

BENNING RD.,1500 block, 12:30 a.m. May 27. A male teenager and an accomplice robbed a person at a bus stop of a cellphone at gunpoint.

BLADENSBURG RD.,3100 block, 12:30 p.m. A man went behind the counter at a store and grabbed the cash register. As he was running from the store, he was confronted and hit a person in the face.

BRENTWOOD RD.,1300 block, 6:30 p.m. May 26. A female snatched a female pedestrian's purse.

D ST.,1900 block, 5:55 a.m. May 28. A man got out of a vehicle and robbed a pedestrian of a bag containing checks, a transit-fare card and keys at gunpoint.

EDGEWOOD ST.,500 block, 7:45 p.m. May 23. A gunman and an accomplice robbed two pedestrians of an iPod, a cellphone, a debit card and shoes.

FLORIDA AVE.,1200 block, 10 p.m. May 24. Three male teenagers robbed two pedestrians of property.

FLORIDA AVE.,1300 block, 10:40 a.m. May 27. Several males robbed a convenience store of five cartons of cigarettes, an electronic scale and cash after smashing the glass over a counter.
