OTHER TOP LOCAL PROSPECTS

LHP Danny Hultzen St. Albans

The All-Met Player of the Year skyrocketed up the draft charts to become the top local prospect this year, but remains steadfast in his desire not to sign and to go to Virginia.

LHP Scott Silverstein St. John's

Highly regarded entering the season, he had soreness in his shoulder and did not pitch. Teams have asked about his interest in signing, but he too is almost certain to play for Virginia next season.

RHP Kevin Brady Gaithersburg

The hard-throwing Clemson signee had another strong season, but most scouts believe he's better off heading to college.

RHP Jesse Beal South County

Has good size and velocity, but it's most likely that he will go to Maryland and polish his skills.

SS Tyler Hibbs Arundel

An All-Met player as a junior, he was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and did not play this season. However, he has worked out for some teams leading up to the draft and could be an intriguing late-round pick.
