Armstrong said that work has kept her busy, so she also hasn't had the time to try out the swimming pool or amenities such as the billiards table, media room or business center.
When she's not working, Armstrong enjoys her unit and the community, which was completed in 2005 and sits on about 18 acres of land.
"I'm kind of a homebody," she said, so the layout and appearance of the complex are important to her. "I really like it -- liked the setup when I first saw it. I like that it's gated."
Armstrong has an eight-mile commute by car. "I drive down to Triangle, so I don't have to fight traffic," she said. "Everything is close by. It's not right on top of me, right outside my front door, but it's all within an eight-mile stretch. The farthest I've been is down to Fredericksburg to do some shopping."
Davis has an even shorter commute, to the Potomac Mills mall. Proximity was a major selling point, since the property is a bit more than four miles from his job. "I'm only here for two years total," so buying a place and having a long drive made no sense.
Armstrong felt the same way. "I move around a lot because of my job. I've had 20 moves in 24 years," said Armstrong, who works for a consulting service that transfers her to various projects.
"I really don't have any complaints -- and I've lived in a lot of places," she said. "The people in the office are exceptionally nice. They're very friendly and willing to help in any way they can. They keep it nice and well maintained and clean. This is one of the nicest places I've lived in."
She said: "It's important to know I'm in a good neighborhood and that I feel safe. It's a very comfortable and peaceful place to come home to and relax."
