PERSONNEL DEPT.

LHP Odalis Pérez (shoulder tendinitis) planned to throw lightly yesterday and he believes he'll be ready for his next start. . . . C Paul Lo Duca (fractured hand) begins a rehab assignment today with Class A Potomac. . . . 3B Ryan Zimmerman's left shoulder will be reevaluated tomorrow and the team then will plan a strategy for his return. Zimmerman hasn't swung a bat or performed any upper-body conditioning for a week.
