PERSONNEL DEPT.

3B Ryan Zimmerman flew to Cincinnati yesterday evening for a visit this morning with physician Tim Kremcheck. Zimmerman will undergo an MRI exam on his injured left shoulder and work with a therapist to map out a rehab program. He plans to rejoin the team in Pittsburgh later today. "It's coming along," he said of his shoulder. . . . RHP Shawn Hill threw a bullpen session yesterday. Until last week, he had refrained from throwing between starts to ease the burden on his right arm.
