Glenelg enters the rankings after a strong finish, winning the Maryland 2A/1A championship for the second time in four years. In five playoff games, Glenelg outscored its opponents 92-35. . . . Oakton won its third straight Virginia championship and finished the season with seven straight wins. Ashley Kimener had seven goals in the state final.
