Merry-Go-Round: Point guard Nikki Blue showed no hesitation against Sacramento on Wednesday, her first game back after suffering a high-ankle sprain on May 25, and Coach Tree Rollins said she'll get the start against the Sky. The third-year guard played more than 16 minutes and had five assists, second only to guard Alana Beard, who has stepped in as point guard at times since Blue's injury. The team hopes Blue's return might bring offensive stability while freeing up Beard for more shots.
Langhorne Shines: With starting center Nakia Sanford in foul trouble against Sacramento in Wednesday's loss, Rollins looked to rookie forward Crystal Langhorne, and the former Maryland Terrapin came through with her best effort of the season. Langhorne played 26 minutes against the Monarchs -- and her Maryland teammate Laura Harper -- and had 13 points and a team-leading 10 rebounds.
