Here's some characteristics about BofA's mobile users:
-- There's more than 100,000 users on peak days.-- Mobile banking skews higher in cities, the most popular are: Los Angeles, Atlanta, Washington DC, Dallas, New York, Houston, Phoenix, Boston, Miami and Anaheim, Calif.-- There was more than 4 million mobile sessions in May 2008, a year after the service was launched.-- Almost all customers use the service to view balances, eight in ten review transactions, while 40 percent transfer funds or pay bills.-- Two-thirds of users are under the age of 35 and four out of five are under 45 years old.-- The most popular devices are Apple ( NSDQ: AAPL) iPhone, Blackberry's and Microsoft ( NSDQ: MSFT) Windows Mobile phones.
