The funeral procession for slain Prince George's County police Cpl. Richard Findley will wind through the quiet streets of Beltsville this afternoon, past the 6th District police station at 4321 Sellman Rd and on to the two Beltsville fire stations where Findley volunteered for many years.

A police spokesman said the procession will drive along Powder Mill Road to Interstate 95, then continue south on I-95 to the Capital Beltway. It will follow the inner loop of the beltway to Route 50, then travel east on Route 50 to Davidsonville Road. Findley will be buried at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.

The procession will begin at the conclusion of the funeral service, which was scheduled for 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 11007 Montgomery Rd.
