An earlier version of one of these briefs incorrectly identified John Langford Eubank Sr., 80, as the driver of a Ford Ranger that struck a Honda Accord in Gaithersburg last week. Eubank, who died as a result of injuries suffered in the crash, was driving the Honda. Authorities identified the driver of the Ford as Marco A. Ekonomo Martinez of Germantown. The brief also incorrectly said the victim's name was John Langford Eubank Jr.

Victim of Crash Is Named
An 80-year-old Gaithersburg man who died as a result of injuries he received during a car crash Thursday afternoon was identified as John Langford Eubank Jr., authorities said.
Eubank, who lived in the unit block of Portside Court, died at Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore after a crash at Midcounty Highway and Woodfield Road at 1:12 p.m.
Eubank, who was driving a 2003 Ford Ranger, was attempting to make a left turn onto Woodfield Road from eastbound Midcounty Highway when he collided with a blue 1997 Honda Accord traveling westbound on the highway.
The Honda was driven by Marco A. Ekonomo Martinez, 25, of the 18200 block of Swiss Circle in Germantown, who was taken to Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville with injuries that were not life-threatening.
