GET THERE EARLY
Because inclement weather is forecast, players in groups of three will tee off from 8 to 10 a.m. at holes 1 and 10. Tournament organizers said they are aiming for a 3 p.m. finish to avoid anticipated thunderstorms.

GOING GREEN
John Merrick leads the field in greens in regulation after three rounds. Merrick has hit 44 of 54 greens (81.5 percent), including 14 of 18 yesterday.
A ROYAL RUMBLE
The top two players from the British Open qualifying money list after the completion of the AT&T National are exempt for the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale. The British Open money list comprises winnings from the U.S. Open and Players Championship plus four other events, including the AT&T. Tommy Armour III is fifth ($589,780) and could overtake Rocco Mediate, who is second ($866,030).
WAY BEHIND
Defending AT&T National champion K.J. Choi shot a second straight 1-over 71 and is 10 shots behind the leader. Choi made three bogeys yesterday but closed with consecutive birdies. He is tied for 45th entering today's final round.
NEARLY PERFECT
Robert Allenby hit 13 of 14 fairways (92.9 percent) and 17 of 18 greens (94.4 percent) yesterday. The Aussie completed his round at 3-under-par 67 and is tied for ninth at 6 under for the tournament.
