· A July 14 A-section article on employee reaction to difficulties at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac incorrectly said that Fannie Mae was seeking to sell $3 billion in securities this week. Freddie Mac is the company involved with the sale.

· In some editions, a photo caption with a July 14 Style article gave an incorrect date for a photo of the Rev. Jesse Jackson and Sen. Barack Obama. The picture was taken in June 2007, not earlier this month.

· An article in the July 11 Weekend section included incorrect admission prices and Sunday hours for the exhibition "The Great American Epic: Jacob Lawrence's Migration Series" at the Phillips Collection. Weekend admission through Sept. 7 is $12, or $10 for seniors and students older than 18. Weekend admission from Sept. 9 through Oct. 26 is $10, or $8 for seniors and students older than 18. (The museum is closed Sept. 8.) Visitors 18 and younger are always free. On weekdays, admission is free for all ages. The museum is open Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

· A July 7 A-section article about the upcoming mission to service the Hubble Space Telescope misstated the weight of two new instruments being installed. The correct weight is 1,740 pounds. The story also imprecisely described the Hubble's role in finding planets beyond the solar system. The telescope has helped discover 16 of the roughly 300 extra-solar planets identified so far.

· A June 29 Page One article on political attitudes in Virginia and West Virginia incorrectly described Grafton, W.Va., as being on a rail line from the Cumberland Gap. The Baltimore and Ohio train line through Grafton came west via the mountain pass in Cumberland, Md.
